I was inspired by
and to make a little introduction post, so here it is! Hi! I’m a 32-year-old cartoonist named Kat :)Bonus fun fact! I go by Kat, but my name is Katherine. My parents intended on giving me the nickname Katie, but they had a cat named Katie at the time that I was born, so I’m guessing it just got confusing? My parents often call me Kath, but the nickname Kat eventually stuck. So, here I am! Kat kinda, sorta named after a cat.
If you’re in NYC, I’ll be tabling at the Brooklyn Independent Comics Showcase this weekend at Industry City. Admission is free, and I’d love to see you! I’ll have plenty of zines and prints for sale. Hi Kat. I'm Kinga (which also starts with a K). When I was born my parents had a cat named Murka (and it made no difference to what they did or didn't call me). I love your work!
